JOB PURPOSE

Manages systems, projects, and medium-complexity analysis related to the facilities area to keep the infrastructure in the conditions required to support the business continuity.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Coordinate and supervise preventive and corrective maintenance of facility operations (HVAC, compressed air, electrical, water systems, etc.)
2. Coordinate and supervise infrastructure operations (green areas, meeting rooms, kitchen and restrooms)
3. Execute technical analysis and troubleshoot systems of medium-high complexity.
4. Manage contractors and validate completed work.
5. Ensure facility documentation meets QMS and regulatory requirements.
6. Lead execution of site projects (layout changes, installations, improvements)
7. Support internal and external audits
8. Prepare scopes of work, cost estimates, and project schedules.
9. Follow all safety and regulatory requirements.
10. Lead and implement CAPAs related to facility systems
11. Implement efficiency or reliability continuous improvement practices to keep facilities area clean and organized, to prevent expensive maintenance or high costs.
12. Participating in HMCR’s energy management team

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Education       

•             Bachelor’s degree in engineering electromechanical, Electrical, Maintenance

Knowledge and skills            

• Excellent bilingual (English/Spanish) verbal and writing communication skills
• Electromechanical, Electrical or similar background Knowledge
• Able to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and cost reduction
• Knowledge of supplier management
• Knowledge of CAPEX and OPEX management
• Fast learning, attention to details and high communication skills
• Knowledge of CAPA and NCR’s management.
• Technical negotiation and service oversight
• Time management, analysis, coordination, proactiveness
• Able to manage people

Experience    

• Minimum 3 years in similar positions
• 2 years of experience in Medical Industry

License or certification required  

•             Design software (AutoCAD / Solid Works).
