Job Purpose

This role will be a part of a cross functional team to ensure completion of the project according to project schedule and budget.   The Process Development Engineer will be the owner in the processes for a complex catheter or sub-assembly.  This role will work closely with development, manufacturing, and quality.

Major Responsibilities

• Participates in the execution of the process design, development, and validation activities for medical devices through the product development process. 
• Able to determine solutions for problems, process selection decisions, and technical challenges.
• Leverages documents such as process validation protocols or engineering studies that demonstrate technical rationale for associated decision.
• Works collaboratively with technicians and operators on the production floor to solve technical problems.

Education       

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related technical field strongly preferred. 

Knowledge and skills 

• Demonstrates basic knowledge of engineering fundamentals
• Medium to Fluent in spoken and written business English and Spanish.
• Able to execute and communicate on any technical and/or project workstreams
• Able to communicate technical concepts to all audiences including manager and production employees
• Demonstrated ability to develop cross-functional relationships and influence to drive results
• Adaptable to the need for continuous improvements and continued change to meet company needs

Experience      

• Must have 2 years of relevant work experience at medical devices industry. 
• Transfer Process Projects implementation preferred.
