JOB PURPOSE

Lead the Talent Acquisition end to end process including strategy definition, planning, role defining, employer branding, sourcing, interviewing, decision making and onboarding to hire the best talent according to the needs of the organization. This hybrid role also provides HR partnership advisory and support to designated business units on HR matters, fostering a high-performance culture.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

1.            Design, plan and execute talent attraction and recruitment strategies and processes according to the business demand to attract the best talent on time.

2.            Employer branding communication strategy and execution including social media and optimization of internal systems and modules for recruitment to promote the open positions and company image and make the process simpler for candidates and internal users.

3.            Assure and coordinate pre-onboarding and on boarding process activities promoting the best employee experience in the company to increase retention.  

4.            Assure regulatory talent acquisition documentation to accomplish personal files information requirements, including keeping updated, accurate and complete job descriptions to have the information required for other HR processes. Ensure candidates meets requirements for the open positions.

5.            Drives HR programs/talent initiatives forward within units/functions, while always ensuring they align with HR processes and business objectives.

6.            Implement the strategic initiatives to support the business plan of the company including but not limited to:

•              Provide the support and logistic for social activities to motivate the employees according to activities scheduling.

•              Keep an adequate organizational environment to promote the values and Culture of HMCR

•              Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation, and preservation of human capital

7.            Receive and manage questions from employees and follow established procedures to provide answers or reference appropriate staff.

8.            Lead coach and develop the team setting clear goals, provide regular feedback and foster professional goal.

Education        

•Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or similar

•Master Degree (MS) Desirable

Knowled

  • Fluent in spoken and written business English
  • MS Office suite
  • Assertive Communication
  • Knowledge of labor law in Costa Rica
  • Feeling of Customer Service and Urgency

Experience      

  • Strong knowledge and experience in end-to-end Talent Acquisition process
  • Strategic thinking
  • Decision making
  • Multitasking person
  •   +8 years in HR positions
  • At least 5 years of experience in the Talent Attraction space
  • Minimum 2 years of experience leading a team
  • Experience with HR systems
  • Experience in manufacturing industry
  • Experience in Medical Components Industry
