What you’ll do

  • Drive profitable growth by acquiring new precious-metal-bearing material streams and expanding existing customer relationships.

  • Develop sales plans, forecasts, territory strategies, customer growth plans, and commercial objectives, and deliver against agreed revenue, volume, profitability, retention, and business-development goals.

  • Serve as the primary commercial contact for assigned strategic accounts and build long-term relationships with customer decision-makers, including executive-level contacts.

  • Understand customers’ material streams, processing activities, supply chains, business objectives, and commercial requirements to identify opportunities for increased sourcing and account growth.

  • Lead and negotiate commercial discussions involving material specifications, pricing, settlement terms, logistics, assay requirements, payment terms, contracts, and service offerings within established authorization limits.

  • Identify, evaluate, and develop new sources of precious-metal-bearing materials from manufacturers, industrial companies, recyclers, collectors, brokers, and other relevant organizations.

  • Work with Refining, Laboratory, Operations, Technical, and Logistics teams to assess material characteristics, recoverability, processing requirements, analytical needs, logistics, and overall business value.

  • Monitor precious-metal markets, recycling and refining trends, customer industries, technology developments, competitive activity, and emerging material streams to identify opportunities and recommend commercial responses.

  • Analyze revenue, profitability, material volumes, customer economics, pipeline activity, anticipated material flows, and forecasts; identify performance gaps and develop corrective actions with business leadership.

  • Coordinate cross-functional resources to deliver customer commitments, resolve complex issues, and balance customer requirements with refining capabilities, processing capacity, quality, logistics, risk, compliance, and profitability objectives.

  • Conduct commercial activities in accordance with Heraeus policies, Code of Conduct, applicable laws and regulations, customer and material acceptance requirements, Anti-Money Laundering expectations, precious-metals accountability standards, and other applicable compliance obligations.
